Purrfect Pals is a cat rescue group based in Santa Rosa/Sonoma County. We take in kittens and cats, nurse them back to health, make sure they are viral tested, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped and then find them permanent homes. Many of our rescues are taken in as very young and sick kittens that need extra care and TLC that other groups (and local shelters) may have a harder time providing.
All of our rescues are FeLV/FIV tested, vaccinated (all have at least started their FRCP series - kittens over 4 months old are generally fully vaccinated for FRCP and rabies - kittens less than 4 months of age will still need additional booster vaccines as they get older), spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. We ask a $70 adoption donation for adult cats and $90 for kittens as a gesture of commitment and to help compensate for medical expenses.
We have an assortment of special kittens and cats waiting for permanent homes and loving families. This usually includes small kittens, half grown "teenager" kittens, young adults, and a few middle aged cats. We have some young, healthy, social, and confident cats. And, we have an assortment of special needs cats if you would consider helping to rescue a cat no one else would want - a few have special medical conditions and some are just very shy and will need a patient and understanding family initially. And, we often have 1 or 2 feral cats seeking barn homes.
