Velvet - 10-12 month old black girl
Velvet is a playful, affectionate young kitty whose warm personality and soft fur match her name. Velvet adores attention and is a great companion, she likes to follow you from room to room and her favorite nap spot is curled up against you. Velvet enjoys exploring her indoor empire, and she loves chasing catnip mice and batting around crinkly toys. She is a chatty kitty who will quickly teach you her language of chirps and meows. Velvet can be a little shy when she meets new people, but once she's comfortable, she's so loving and playful. This sweet, curious girl will return your love and attention threefold.
Velvet was found as an outdoor kitten and spayed by a local cat rescue, so her ear is tipped. She now appreciates the comforts of an indoor-cat life, and she would like a home that will keep her safe and happy indoors.

Bella - 1 year old black and white girl
Found emaciated raising 3 kittens on a vineyard in Calistoga but must have once been someone’s cat as she’s very sweet.
Now that her children are no longer dependent on her, she's been able to regain weight and serenity and happiness. She loves attention and plays with her kittens.

Nancy Drew - 1 1/2 year old torbie girl
Nancy Drew is a very charming and affectionate 1 year old still patiently waiting for a home of her own.
She and her 3 siblings were found as orphaned newborns and taken in to be bottle fed. Her siblings were adopted last year, but somehow she is still waiting.
She is very sweet, playful, and affectionate - ready to charm anyone willing to offer her attention. She is comfortable with dogs and gets along well with other cats once she gets to know them.
She cuddles well, enjoys being held, and spends at least part of every night snuggling up beside her foster mother.
She was developing increasingly inflamed gums and we finally had her back teeth extracted (she just has her 4 canines now) - it was completely successful, her mouth is very comfortable and healthy now, she still eats dry food well, and she should have fewer future dental needs than an average cat now.

Topaz - 1 1/2 year old tabby boy
Topaz is a little over 1 year old. He came to us as an unwanted kitten; his 3 siblings were adopted, but he somehow got overlooked and is still waiting.
He's a very sweet, cuddly, and playful boy. He is a little shy with new people and places but settles in with a little patience. He gets along well with other cats, although prefers them to be playful, interactive friends. He's comfortable with the resident dog.
Please help him find a home soon!

Ariel - 1 1/2 year old long haired tabby
Ariel her 2 siblings were taken in as scared, stray kittens from a barn when about 2 months old. Ariel was the shiest of the 3 and took the longest to really learn to trust and be affectionate - but she's quite a sweet cat now. She loves attention and loves lap time and cuddling, but is still shy with strange people, places or situations. She does well with other cats and is tolerant of the resident dogs. However, she will do best with a relatively quiet household with a little patience to allow her to acclimate and be herself.

James Bond - 7 year old tuxedo
Initially showed up as a stray in Lake County - where a nice lady tried to take care of them but couldn't afford to continue to do so. He was one of several cats we took in from there. He had his teeth extracted due to emerging stomatitis but responded great to that and is mouth has been beautifully comfortable since. He still eats kibble readily and will never need any future dental cleanings thanks to that. He was adopted once but returned almost 2 years later due to a change in the owner circumstances, so now starting again.
He's mildly shy initially but quite a sweet boy once acclimated. Please help him find a truly forever home this time!

Raven - 2 year old black boy
Raven is a very sweet, snuggly, cuddly, and plafyul boy. He loves attention and likes to explore and play with catnip mice. He thrives in a somewhat quiet home (no young children) - but does very well with cats and with dogs he knows.
Raven came to us as skinny, undersized, and orphaned 3 week old. He and his sister were bottle fed until they were old enough to eat on their own. It took them a while before they really started catching up to normal weights, but he is a healthy and happy adult and has made it to a medium sized cat size. His sister has been adopted - he is still waiting.

Iris - shy 2 year old grey tabby girl
Taken in as skinny scared stray when 5 weeks old. She was overlooked as a kitten and still hoping for a home and family.
She was raised with 4 outgoing bottle fed kittens, but remains shy and tends to stay in the background. She's very friendly when pet but needs encouragement to seek out attention. Great with other cats that are nice to her, but is easily bullied by dominant personalities. She does seem to enjoy cuddling with the dogs, but will take off if the dogs become rambunctious. Needs an understanding family to take her in and help her learn confidence.
